Looking to bring your hair back to its full, fabulous glory? PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) hair restoration might be just the thing for you! These hair restoration injections for hairloss and thinning are gaining popularity with both men and women. Our patients love the simple and straightforward process at AVIVA Dermatology of Houston, Texas. Let’s break it down step by step in a fun and friendly way!
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma, a part of your blood that holds growth factors. Over the years and through decades of research, it has been found that PRP injections into the scalp can stimulate hair growth, addressing thinning and loss in a more natural, holistic manner than prescription medications and shampoos.
Consistency is key! Most patients see the best results after several treatments spaced a few weeks apart. Patience and care lead to amazing growth, which doesn’t happen overnight.
The PRP hair restoration process is really that simple.
